About The Arsenal FC Blog

I qualified as a journalist after completing my MA in Electronic Publishing from the School of Journalism at City University just down the road from the old Highbury stadium.

I first fell in love with The Arsenal in the 1990s after going to Highbury when I lived just off Holloway Road. The following year I bought a season ticket for the Clock End, and I loved it.

I saw Bergkamp score his first goals against Southampton and watched on as Wenger revolutionised the club and the whole of top-flight football in England.

I have been writing articles since 2002, and I started this blog full-time in 2022 as I love football and am amazed that thousands of people have read my ramblings over the years. The blog is already getting over 1,500 views on many articles so we must be doing something right.

Thanks so much for all your support each end every one of you.

Cheers,

David
